Travel Arrangements on 31 July.
David and Megan would kindly ask all guests to make their own way to their ceremony location- Tivoli Carvoeiro, Algarve. This is approximately a 35 minute drive from Albuferia. Feel free to arrive early and a enjoy a cold drink in the hotel bar that overlooks the clifftop where we will tie the knot.
We would like all guests to have arrived by 2pm. Our wonderful wedding planner, Carla, and her team will be there to greet you.

After the ceremony there will be three buses to take guests to our venue, Solar do Paco. This is around a 30 minute journey.
​
Coaches will arrive at 2am to return guests to Albuferia.
If this is too late, don't worry, Uber's are readily available in the area.

A Cocktail Reception- Canapes
Starter -
Potato & Leek Soup with Crispy Bacon
Main Course -
Filet Mignon with Alheria Crust on a bed of Roasted Potatoes and Pepper Sauce.
Palate Cleanser -
Mango Sorbet with Fig Brandy.
Dessert -
Chocolate Fondantwith Peanut Crunch and Whipped Cream.

Travel & Accommodation
David, Megan and their families will be in Albuferia from Sunday 27 July and are staying in Villa's just on the outskirts of Albuferia.
​
Flights leave daily from Belfast International to Faro, Portugal.
You may also wish to check flying from Dublin and Derry Airports too.
​
Our wedding ceremony and reception are in two different locations- Carvoeiro & Algoz. (See map for guidance).
It is completely up to guests where they stay. Our wedding venue is a private venue in a remote area, not a hotel.
Anywhere in Albuferia, Olhos de Agua or Villamoura would be ideal. Taxi services and Uber are readily available in all areas so travelling between towns is easy. Our celebrations pre and post wedding are in Albuferia as the majority of our guests will stay here.
​
In recent years Albuferia has become a lively destination. If you prefer somewhere a little quieter, Villamoura and it's beautiful marina would be perfect.
​
You can arrange a private taxi or bus transfers from Faro Airport to your destination. Having been to Albuferia many times we usually book an Uber upon arrival.
​​
To get greater insight into hotels and all things 'The Algarve', Megan suggests watching nicolainportugal on TikTok- Nicola provides hotel walk arounds, things to do and weather updates daily.

We're so excited to celebrate with everyone on the 31st of July – that’s the day that means the most to us! While we’d love to see you at the welcome drinks and day two as well, please don’t feel any pressure. Your presence at the main event is more than enough, and we’ll just be happy to have you there.

Where is everyone staying?
​
Most guests are staying in hotels in Albuferia. Some have also opted to rent out villas. Often the price can be reduced when a large group share villa accommodation.
What's the dress code?
​
Dress to impress. Wedding attire recommended. However we understand temperatures will be quite high during peak Summer season.
